We hope to increase and sustain youth engagement by providing Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) learning opportunities and prepare economically disadvantaged children for tomorrow’s STEM workforce.
Kids in Motion

The S.T.E.M. Program
Children are engaged in group sports and physical fitness exercises to promote good health and lessen childhood obesity. In addition, participants learn the importance of good sportsmanship, teamwork, and fair play.
Reading Enrichment

The Reading Enrichment program gives children the opportunity to participate in exciting reading enrichment activities that help instill a love of reading, improve reading fluency and comprehension skills.

F.R.E.S.H. members, parents, and staff participate in service learning projects and events that link character education, organization, planning, leadership skills and teamwork with community needs and service. F.R.E.S.H.'s community service class gives students an opportunity to plan, implement, and participate in various community service projects throughout the year.

F.R.E.S.H.'s music and art programs give students an opportunity to receive professional dance, dramatic arts, and visual art instruction in order to develop an appreciation for the arts, help with concentration, increase self-confidence, and pride.

F.R.E.S.H. Smart Choices
Students involved in Smart Choices are engaged in activities, rap sessions and workshops that promote good character. Students are encouraged to make healthy life choices as it relates to emotional and physical health, education, personal responsibility, ethics, and more.
